    INSTRUCTORS
    Kyle Sorys
Kyle Sorys has been practicing digital photography since 2011 when a close friend of his gifted him his first digital camera (a 2001 Canon Rebel XTi) before moving to Boulder Colorado. Kyle then took a basic photography class and enjoyed hiking and photographing the beautiful Colorado mountainous landscapes. As with many people, photography was simply an enjoyable hobby. But in 2021, Kyle decided to integrate photography more fully into his life. He upgraded his camera gear and enrolled in Metro Community College 2019s Digital Photography Program. Since Kyle was also a mindfulness meditation teacher, he started exploring how mindfulness, meditation, and photography could be a unified daily practice. Thus, in the summer of 2022, Kyle led his first workshop in Meditative Photography. Teaching and image-making are two of Kyle 2019s passions. For him, the joy comes much more from the process than the final results. His workshops are conducted in a gentle and relaxed atmosphere, focused on experiential learning and hands-on practice.
